On June 10, 2019, Ruslan Nagaev and Eldar Kantemirov were detained in Alushta, Ruslan Mesutov in the village of Maly Mayak, Lenur Khalilov, chairman of the local religious community, in the village of Izobilnoye. Khalilov is suspected of organizing the Hizb ut-Tahrir cell in Alushta (part 1 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the investigation, Kantemirov and Nagaev are in this cell.
