On June 10, 2022, the "Kyiv Simferopol District Court" ("judge" - Oksana Karchevska) issued a guilty verdict under article 208, part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("participation in an illegal armed formation") to Oleksii Volodymyrovych Makarov. According to the CHRG, he was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
