Graduated from the Military Law Faculty of the Military University of the RF Ministry of Defense.
In 1993 he became a judge of the military court of the Vyborg garrison. In 2001, he was appointed chairman of the Vorkuta garrison military court. In 2005, he took the position of a judge of the Leningrad District Military Court, and in 2013 - deputy chairman of the court.
By Decree of the Federation Council of October 28, 2015 N 398-SF, he was appointed to the position of a judge of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
