On March 21, 2023, Bronyslav Danylovych, Iryna's father, informed she had been consistently left without a medical care, that she had almost lost her hearing due to inflammation that had not been treated for months, that the administration of Simferopol Pre-Trial detention Center no 1 was constantly ignoring Ms. Danylovych's request for medical care. Mr. Danylovych also informed that Iryna was planning to go on a dry hunger strike protesting against being consistently left without a medical care.
On June 16, 2023, Iryna Danylovych's father reported that due to lack of treatment on a constant basis, Iryna could hardly hear and
might lose her hearing completely if not treated in the future.
