Биография:
Yevhen Karakashev, born on 21.08.1978, resident of Yevpatoriya, apprehended on 01.02.2018. The ground behind the apprehension was a video “Last interview of the Seaside partisans” posted on the social network “Vkontakte” which the russian court ruled to be extremist. There were other materials on the page which the experts declared to be extremist either. On 19.04.2019 the Northern-Caucasus/Severno-Kavkazskyy/ district military court in Rostov condemned Yevhen Karakashev and sentenced him to 6 years of the general regime colony accusing him of the crimes envisaged by the Article 205.2-1 and 205.2-2 of the Criminal Code of the RF (public calls for terrorism). Yevhen Karakashev was prohibited from administering the websites for a 2-year period. He was in custody starting from 02.02.2018. On 01.02.2024 Yevhen Karakashev was released as he served his term. He left the territory of the RF and is in Ukraine.
