On April 1, 2022, the Military Court of Appeal in the city of Vlasikha dismissed the appeal of defence on extending the detention period of Remzi Bekirov. This decision was a pure formality because the judgement on keeping the defendants of the 2nd Simferopol Hizb-ut-Tahrir Case in custody had been awarded. In addition, Mr. Bekirov was reported to have been convoyed to Novocherkask Pre-Trial Detention Center no 3 once the Southern Area Military Court had passed the sentence. The conditions of staying in this pre-trial detention center are severe: just 2-3 persons per cell, no opportunity to get proper medical care.
